Pinned topic How to corelate test data for which no Data Source is available

‏2013-02-08T09:05:25Z |
Hi All,

I am trying to corelate a value for which there is no Data Source available.
It is a file download operation and I observed that value is different for each recording.
The file is not downloading on Script Execution so I doubt that this might be the possible reason.

The recorded URL, the variables which I want to corelate are rnd and ti in bold

XXXXXXXX&tid=15&eid=Messaging.zip&ecat=ZIP%20Downloads&*rnd=1360301532665*&tid=8&pi=Messaging%20Component&*ti=1360298494711*&nm=Messaging.zip&XXXXXXXX
Kindly help me deal with it.

Thanks,
Manish

Those look like standard strings that should be available as potential data sources in a previous response. The answer is that upon finding that data in the recorded test you can select it and create a reference. This step makes it a data source that you can then use in a subsequent response as a substitution site.
