Pinned topic COBOL Editor - remote preprocessor - field "Preporcessor parameters"

‏2013-02-08T08:42:34Z |
Hi,

we are using a remote preprocessor in property groups for cobol programs.

In the "editor configurations" is a input filed named "Preprocesser parameters" to hand over additional parameters to the remote preprocessor.

My question:
Is there any possibility to use RDz variables (like. <HLQ> or $userid) to handover variable informations to the preprocessor or is this field just for static parameters / constants?

Thanks,
Ingo

I just learnt that you should be able to use, <PDS> <MEM> <USERID> <HLQ> and more. Ref to Property Group > JCL Substitution > Global Variables > Insert Global Variables. The ones mentioned here is a subset from those.

    Hi,

Is it possible with the preprocessor to start a jcl which will execute an Endevor action?

    thanks
