Pinned topic Unable to Create Charts in TBSM

‏2013-02-07T15:45:05Z |
Hi Team,

I have created charts in TBSM following below mentioned procedure.
Chart is created for external datasource.

1. Select Charts from the Service Navigation drop-down list.
2. Click the Create New Chart button in the Service Navigation portlet.
3. The New Chart portlet opens in the Service Editor
4. Enter the name of the new chart.
5. Select the radio button for the chart type you want.
6. Select your data source and select the data you want for your chart.
7. Set the X and Y axis properties for your chart.
8. Optionally add a grouping expression and service property parameters.
9. Click Save.

Now, I am trying to add the chart in TIP using charting portlet in new Page.
I am getting below mentioned error.

CTGTD1000E

An error occurred while processing the request to the server.

Detail: SQLException

An SQL data change is not permitted for a read-only connection, user or database. :
Request you to help

Regards,
Avinash

Hi could you send a screen shot of the configuration you have in the chart configuration UI?
    Thanks,
    Isaac

The error message sounds like there's a problem with the query but I can't see the whole query in the screen shot.
If you click the View button can you see the data? If not, there's probably a problem with the query.
If you can see the data, then we should look at the logs- if not too big, please attach trace.log from data and dashboard servers.
    Thanks,
    Isaac

    Hi Issac,

I am able to view the data. Also I have 3 different TIP servers.
I am able to configure graph on other 2, only on this TIP I am unable to configure graph.

Please find attached dataserver and dashboard server trace logs. Dashboard server trace logs are twice as 1 of them is newly created so I thouht it wouldn't be having much information.

    Regards,
    Avi
