After I upgraded Data Studio (from 3.1) I'm not able anymore to connect to remote databases. They can be on Linux servers, Windows or on z/OS. That worked fine in the earlier version, and I have not changed anything after the upgrade. Obviously something has changed in the newer version, but what? I tried to create a the SAMPLE database locally on my my laptop and connecting to that worked just fine. BTW: I have DB2 9.7 AESE, fixpack 7, on my laptop.

Re: Data Studio 126.96.36.199 Not able to Connect remote databases2013-02-07T07:37:51Z in response to PsssstI forgot to mention that the error message I get is "SQL4499N A fatal error occured that resulted in a disconnect from the data source". And I have checked all the suggestions that are listed in order to solve the problem.
