I'm developing a widget for the first time, and following the tutorial in the Redbook: Developing Applications with IBM FileNet P8 APIs (section 6.5.9). The instructions suggest taking the widget registration file (sampleECMWidgets.xml I assume), and copying it to the Business Space registryData folder; then stopping/starting the BSP app in WebSphere. I restarted its JVM.
I also deployed the WAR file (sampleECMWidgets context root), and started this in WAS.
But when I go onto BusinessSpace, and edit a page, the new widget doesn't appear.
Any ideas why?

Re: How to register & deploy a widget2013-02-12T10:26:45Z in response to CBS3_Ian_WilsonOK, just to answer my own question, I was never able to deploy widgets simply by placing a catalog/endpoints file in the registryData folder. That may have worked in previous versions of BSP, but not any more.
But deployment using wsadmin/$AdminTask works like a dream.
