I have a end user for whom the VOB does not mount once he shutdown his machine and restarts.
I have checked the PersistentVob key in registry. Reconnect at Logon is selected in the user preferences.
The user also mentioned that the network drives already mapped does not get connected after starting the computer.
I am not able to understand the issue. Any pointers?

Have you looked at the event log?
Is the albd service starting automatically after re-boot?
We have to configure it to restart after failure, because it tries to start up before group authentication is available after a re-boot.
