I have been attempting to upgrade the uEFI, IMM, and DSA Preboot firmware on an HS22 blade with little luck. The blade is running Windows Server 2008 R2 so I tried using UpdateExpress, all three upgrades bombed. I then used Bootable Media Creator version 9.3 and it also bombed on all three upgrades.

Re: HS22 Firmware Upgrade Problems2013-02-06T11:13:45Z in response to HendersonDGet the .exe update files from the IBM website. Try running the updates through your AMM (update your AMM first to the latest level bpet62u at present)
Run the updates in the following order IMM, Uefi and then Diags
its simple, browse to the appropriate .exe select the blade(s) you want to update and click update. The updates will run all at the same time and report back a progess bar. If the update bombs out on a blade, try reseating it wait for it to divsover and then try update again.
Re: HS22 Firmware Upgrade Problems2013-02-08T01:01:38Z in response to SystemAdminThat did the trick. I was able to update the uEFI and IMM firmware through the Advanced Management Module. Once I rebooted the server I was able to update the DSA Preboot through update express.
Not sure why I could not update uEFI or IMM through either UpdateExpress or Bootable Media Creator.
Thanks for the help
