Pinned topic Advanced profile issue for multiple windows with same signature

‏2013-02-01T11:39:21Z |
We have an mainframe application which will generate an generic id as text on the console. TAM ESSO is unable to detect the text on the screen due the application they are using. So we have profiled the application using ".*" for the console as we have no other option to detect the screen. The issue is when user opens single window than the profile is working as expected but when user opens multiple windows than on the first window the injection is working as expected but on the second logon screen the profile is not able to inject the credentials.

The error it shows is "Multiple windows found". The profile is unable to detect the second screen opened by the user. Please suggest how to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Is the second instance have a different PID or the same PID (processor ID) as the first instance? If they are different, the profiles should work. If they are the same, is there anything different in the title of the window that can help you distinguish between them?

    Thanks Toma for your reply.
The PID's are same for both the instances and also the titles of the windows are same. The title only differs with the generated id and the id's are generated when window is opened so I am using .* in the signature.

I have no idea if you can retrieve the window title using scripts. What does AccessStudio see? Is this a windows based mainframe client? Java based mainframe client? Web based? Unfortunately there's not enough information for me to provide much assistance.
