Pinned topic How to get the break of the report execution time

‏2013-01-31T14:13:27Z |
Hi All,

Is there any way to get the break of the report execution time.

I mean to see how much time it took in DB to fetch the data and the time to display.

For e.g total execution time is 1 min ( 40 secs in DB & 20 secs in congos to format and display).

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Naveen

There is a Perf.QFS trace that is covered in the following training course:
    https://www-304.ibm.com/jct03002c/services/learning/itess.wss/us/en?pageType=course_description&courseCode=B2419

If you cannot take that, you will need schedule the report to completion to get the entire execution time, and in parallel trace the incoming query to the database.

TotalReportExecution-timeondatabase would give you the time the report takes to do its local processing and rendering. This would not cover any request transport time. (Time between dispatchers etc.)
