Pinned topic Websphere Portal and Accessibility compliance

‏2013-01-29T21:12:28Z |
I have a Websphere portal application running on Portal server 7.0.0.2 which uses the Portal theme shipped with the portal server. I have been running accessibility tests against my application and have been seeing a lot of violations in the page layout html code such as "For a data table (i.e., the table tag does not contain a WAI-ARIA 'presentation' role), identify headers for the table rows and columns."

I was going through the following article
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/portalwiki.nsf/dx/Accessibility_Portal7and8
which says that the Portal themes comply with accessibility guidelines, But I'm getting quite a lot of violations. Am I missing something, Has anyone faced a similar issue with accessibility of Portal applications?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sugantha.
