Hello all, first time poster.
I have a user with 8.0.4 and I need to give them 8.5.1 and RTC 188.8.131.52....
What's the best approach to do this? They DO NOT have access to the internet. I currently have RAD 8.5.1Eval and RTC repo on a thumb drive...
They only do java programming, so I don't see a "upgrade projects" issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Upgrade from 8.0.4 to 8.5.1 - blocker...2013-02-01T14:42:53Z in response to SystemAdminHello,
It is not possible to "upgrade" RAD 8.0.4 to RAD 8.5.1.
You need to perform a new installation, both can coexist on the same machine.
Using the same Installation Manager that is already installed, configure a Repository pointing at the disk1\diskTag.inf file of the RAD 8.5.1 uncompressed media.
IM>File> Preferences> Repository
Then press Install. Installation Manager might have to update itself, which would work automatically if they had internet access.
If they do not have Internet access, you will have to also configure the repository of the version of Installation Manager shipped on the RAD-SETUP disk:
Then press Install. IM will upgrade itself, and eventually you will be able to install RAD in a new Package group (new directory).
see for more information:
As for RTC 184.108.40.206, make sure to select the Client Extension package.
Thank you and regards, Lara
