Pinned topic Error with CPLEX 12.5 and MATLAB 2010a

‏2013-01-25T19:12:42Z |
Dear All,

I try to use CPLEX 12.5 (the academic version) with MATLAB 2010a. However, I constantly get the error:

CPLEX Error: 1426, Low-level file I/O error A low-level error occurred during input or output of a file.

Can anyone tell me what does that mean? Thanks!

By the way, all my codes run fine with CPLEX 12.4 and MATLAB 2010a.
Yong

    What kind of file are you trying to read?
    Could you post that file here?
    Do you have a backtrace for that error or can you tell which function triggers that error?

      Thanks!

      I'm not reading any file. I'm not using any external data.

      Error occurs at the first line:

      >> cplex = Cplex('SOCPProb');
      By the way, I'm using Windows-7, 64 bit.

        I cannot reproduce this here :-(
        Looking at the source code I don't even see why CPLEX would try to open a file here. Do you have a backtrace for this error? Even if the backtrace is only a few frames into matlab it might be helpful.
