Pinned topic Display PICTURE in Layout DXL?

‏2013-01-25T18:42:06Z |
Can anyone advise on the layout DXL code required to display a picture embedded in the Object text attribute into a layout DXL column?
From my own checking of the help file, there doesn't appear to be any simple way to do this, but maybe there is some canvas-related functions that will allow me to achieve this?

    The easiest method to read a picture I know is, to copy it to the clipboard using the right perm and read it back as rich text. Then you could just "displayRich" it there, e.g.:

    if (pictureCopy o) {
       buf += stringOf richClip()
    }

    Unfortunately using the clipboard from a layout DXL would be fatal, therefore this is probably no help for you. If you would go for a GUI cached layout, this could work for you. Regards, Mathias

      Mathias - I tried that, you are right - it is fatal! :)
      I can live without this if I must, thanks.
