We are trying to install a version of Windows 2008 on an IBM 3550 (7978). We are installing from the original disks supplied by the manufacturer. The installation proceeds to testing the drives, formatting, and then requests the disk with the 2008 server install. The install hangs after approximately 10 minutes and gives a blue screen. There are a series of hex error codes that appear but never consistently with the same set of numbers. All current BIOS, firmware, and controller updates have been done.
Suggestions as to what may be causing this are appreciated.
