Pinned topic Error starting Rhapsody 8

‏2013-01-24T16:14:04Z |
Hi,

After starting Rhapsody 8.0.1 (on win 7), I try to create a new project but an error occurs :

Cannot find Java Virtual Machine file (JVM.dll)
Please update the JavaLocation entry under the JVM section in your rhapsody.ini file

I look in the file but the entry looks like to be correct.

I don't understand what's wrong, please help.

Regards,
Fred

    Hi,

Try to run the following command from cmd:
    java -version

If you receive the following message:
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command
the problem might be that you have a JRE copy and you have to add Java location in PATH variable.

    Regards,
    Ramona
