We imported defects from a non ClearQuest database years ago. Several of the history action timestamps were scrambled and show up as dates in the future. Is there a way to change the action_timestamps dates?
Example script that helped import misinterpreted a free form string of 020315 as 2015-02-03, when the intended date was 2002-03-15.
Tried Export of the defect, modify history dates, and Import the defect. Also tried perl script API, but history.action_timestamp field is read-only. Wasn't able to EditEntity and SetFieldValue.
Current ClearQuest version 7.1.2.06. With SQL_SERVER.

Actually, the only (unsupported) way to do that is a direct SQL modification to the database tables.
But, I reassert, this method is not supported.
In a reliable tracking system, history data should be "objective" and reflect the actual timestamps of any event.
