Hi; I've created an Event Action of the following characteristics:
Type: Start a program on the management server
Time zone: America/Montevideo - Uruguay Time - UYT
Program file name: /soporte/scripts/test.sh
Used by event automation plan:
And this is the script that it should run:
root@director_srv:/> cat /soporte/scripts/test.sh
echo $(date)" "$1 >> /tmp/coco
The thing is that Iv'e tried to test it using the test utility but it does not run although I see the entry at the history for the Action Plan.
I've also tried changing to:
Program file name: test.sh
Program path: /soporte/scripts/
as stated in the "Learn more about how to specify the program that you want to run" page but I get the same behavior.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Event Action not running in ISD 6302013-01-28T19:11:48Z in response to ppereiraThese issues are typically permissions related.
In the Action history, what is the end action?
What are the permissions on your script? Start with 777 to see if it will work. Which user is the owner for the file and directory, as well as the output directory? Try making root the owner and see what happens.

Re: Event Action not running in ISD 6302013-01-28T19:18:37Z in response to SystemAdminHi; Thanks for the response.
I tried with 777 permissions, it was running with root and the log stated that the action had been issued correctly.
I even cuted and pasted the example in the help page and nothing.
Since it is a new server I am re-installing it with ISD 6.3.2.
I'll try with the new version.
