I would like to run some DB2 commands, such as dbadvis, from within an EJB. What is the simplest way to do this ?

Thank you

    Hi,

the db2advis command is only available on the command line and through the control center, as far as I am aware. In an EJB you would need to call the local os and then execute the command, if the EJB is running on the same system as DB2/DB2 CLI. There is a nice doc explaining Process here: http://www.javaworld.com/jw-12-2000/jw-1229-traps.html

    Regards,
