We have deployed one IHS server on one machine and two Websphere servers on two separate hosts.
Although the simple load balancing works fine i.e. before login page,
all static content is delivered in round robin fashion by two websphere servers.
When we login to application(post in login.jsp),the new request is send to second server.
Please find attached the plugin logs from IHS.
The code to create session is simple as below
HttpSession session = request.getSession(true);
What I feel is that when first time login.jsp request is made, WAS is attaching a session with it and
after post request, it is creating new session because of which request is going to second WAS and not first one where post request was sent. Other thing noticed is that after login,server is returning 302 response code. will this be a problem ?
We are not using any session replication mechanism as of now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
