I need to get the file metadata from a document selected in the document list control and load it in a private variable. I have the ECMDocumentInfo list and the binding in the document viewer control with the selected item in this variable.
For example, the file has Author metadata set as "John" so i need to load "Jhon" in a private string variable in the BPM workflow
thanks in advance.

Re: IBM BPM V8 & FileNet Content Manager Integration Get Metadata2013-01-23T14:52:22Z in response to dbrenesThanks for reading the question,
I found a workaround to do this, I get the content url from the selected file and use the getFile service included in the Content toolkit, once you get the file in a ECMDocument variable you can obtain a ECMPrperty list that has all the file properties.
