Pinned topic CSC Initialization failed ... pqcmx.dll

‏2013-01-17T15:41:49Z |
Hi all!

Product: IBM Data Server Runtime Client
Version: 9.7.700.552

I have upgraded the client from fp 4 to fp 7.

Now on my db2diag.log I get the following entry:

2013-01-17-15.12.37.766000+060 I32517H402 LEVEL: Info PID : 5072 TID : 3176 PROC : TestDB2.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 EDUID : 3176 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, base sys utilities, sqle_LoadAndInitCscLibrary, probe:3 DATA #1 : <preformatted> CSC Initialization failed (Load

default library C:\DB2NT\pqcmx\pureQuery\bin\pqcmx.dll failed with rc = 0)

On my istallation directory I do not have the "pqcmx" folder so...
1) what is the meaning of the entry?! Can I ignore it? (it state that un-necessary file do no exist on my installation?)
2) under wich condition there is such .dll on the istallation path?

ciao

I think it's a part of the InfoSphere Optim pureQuery feature, which can be purchased separately. Since it's an INFO-level message, you can safely ignore it.

Is your server at the same fix pack level as the client?

    thanks

The client connect to several db, some on Linux other on Z, different version & fp.
