Pinned topic OPM 5.2. Repository Server service don't start

‏2013-01-17T15:12:59Z |
Environment:
Windows 2008 R2
OPM v5.2
DB2 AESE 9.7 FP7

I can not start the OPM Repository Server as Windows service.
The OPM Web Console service started succesfull.

When I try to restart OPM Repository Server as Windows service I recieve the following message from Windows "The IBM InfoSphere Optim Performance Mananer - DB2 - Repository Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or progrmas."

OPM write the following message in the C:\Program Files\IBM\OPM\logs\PESService.log:

15:38:40 2013-01-17 Service wrapper: Optim Performance Manager Server process exit code retrieved: -1073741515.
15:38:40 2013-01-17 Service wrapper: Optim Performance Manager Server has been completed. Please, refer to server's log messages.
15:38:40 2013-01-17 Service wrapper: Service has been stopped successfully.

(see the attachment file PESService.log for more details)
But if start the OPM Repository Server by PESTART.BAT (batch mode) then it started succesfull.
Has anyone seen this behaviour and found a solution?

I installed the proposed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 R and it helped.

      Thank you.
