Pinned topic Link arrow and change bar display

‏2013-01-14T22:41:12Z |
Currently the link arrow and change bar are displayed on "column A" in the formal module. I would like to have them displayed on "column C". Is there any way that this can be changed? We are running DOORS version 9.4.

Thanks in advance for your response.

No; those are features of the "Main" column and cannot be assigned to any other column.

However, some folks have managed to display a column with a change bars and static link arrows (using a DXL "canvas"). I suppose some really clever folks have found a way to make clicking such a drawn link arrow be interactive. Such a layout column could indeed be written to display an attribute value, and thus is pretty close to what you want.

Thanks Louie, that helps a lot and confirms my suspicion. I'll try the DXL approach.

See this thread for some discussion on replicating the change bar & link arrow functionality.
