We dug little deep in to the problem, followed this approach to first identify where the problem is and then fix it:

Cleared all the logs in DMGR and all nodes
Verify the logging during install activity
Found out errors related to virtual host settings in one of the nodes,so we know that the communication is not a problem between process center and process server during snapshot install.
Added the port in to the host alias which the application is complaining about.

    Thanks & Regards

Have you been able to install any PA to this runtime server and just this one is failing, or all attempts to install any PA are failing?

Before adding the port in to virtual host alias all of the snapshot installations were
Failing .Now we were able to install all of our PAs in to runtime server.
We looked at the communications and ports section of each server to see the ports and
make sure they are available in the virtual hosts. If I remember correctly
        9082 is missing.

        Thanks & Regards

          Hi Mahesh,

I am also getting an error while installing snapshot into Process Server from ProcessCenter in 8.5. The error message is below. I was reading your post. You mentioned that you added the port in virtual host alias to resolve the problem. How to check whether port is added or not.

Error msg: com.lombardisoftware.server.ejb.governance.GovernanceEventServiceCore deploySnapshotFromGovernance CWLLG3512E: Governance service 'Install Snapshot' failed due the following error: 'CWLLG0155E:The install failed. Check server logs on [Process Server] for more information.

In systemout.log of process server there is no error/exception logged.

          Can you please help!

          Regards,

          Deb

            Hi Mahesh,

Which port should be added to virtual host alias.

            Regards,
