Dear IBM,

we have bought a sever system x3650M3 and after around one year we had two hard drive crashes in a RAID 5 Array and all our data is allocated in the hard drive so please advise how we can recover our data.

please help

    Hi,

    You must perform a restore of the data from your backup system (assuming the system was being backed up). RAID 5 cannot sustain more than 1 drive loss.

    You can force each of drive as a good state in the webios and try to clone your vlone to another oe or to another computer.
    If you have some errors when copying you can use something like {code}dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/sdb conv=noerror,sync{code
