I have installed RPE 1.2 and configured the web service on apache/tomcat 7 (as a windows service), but I am not able to generate documents in remote mode ... All is installed in the VM (Win 7 64).
Jobs are executed in local without any trouble.
The web service console is accessible, and the jobs are visible in the list, but always in "queued" status. It seems that the jobs are never started by the service.
What is the missing configuration element ?

Re: RPE 1.2 web service2013-01-17T12:18:50ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.Hey Luc,
the RPE WebService is supported and works fine on Tomcat 6. In your case what might have happened is that the system variable that defines the LICENSE server location was not replicated in the context where the Tomcat service runs. So as the RPE webservice was trying to start jobs they would get locked on the license checkout ( the RPE.log for each job accessible from the job details screen could have clarified this). When Tomcat 7 was installed the environment was correctly configured for RPE to run.
