Pinned topic JDBC action connector calling a procedure

‏2013-01-08T11:00:29Z |
My question is very simple. Is there a way to configure a JDBC action connector to call a database stored procedure? It seems quite strange to me that doing this is so straight forward with JDBC event connector but not possible with it's 'action' brother...

If it's not possible, what workaround would you suggest? Using select/insert/update JDBC action connectors can not be the way, my JDBC action should involve several queries.

I'm on WODM 8.0. The data source I'm needing to call the procedure on refers to a MySQL database.

Thanks, Davide

    Hi d.parini,

I am afraid that we support neither MySQL nor store procedure on the JDBC action connector.

Ok, thanks for the answer. I'll find another way.

Do you think procedure call JDBC action connector will be implemented in future releases? IMHO its missing is quite a flaw, do you agree?

FYI, MySQL behaves properly as a data source, although it's not supported! :-)
