Running the sudo ./db2setup command brings up the splash screen and then proceeds to bring up a blank window on the mac.
I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8, java version "1.7.0_12-ea" Any solutions for this issue, I saw a similar problem with UBUNTU, but nothing posted for the mac.

a) Upgrading Java on Windows machines to Update 10 causes Google Chrome and Firefox to prevents Java from being detected and prevents Java Applets from running. Oracle has tried to downplay the issue that it only affects "certain configurations" with Firefox.
b) On OSX with 7 Update 10, Java Applets displays completely garbled windows.
c) There were a number of public posted descriptions of the problems on an Oracle blog in late December.
These helpful problem descriptions are now no longer available on this blog.
Shot in the dark, Can you install an older version of Java on the Mac and see if you experience the problem.

Hi Henrik, sorry to be spamming your blog with this but I've created a test case that recreates the Java 7u10 on Mac/OSX plugin image corruption and put it here http://www.chrisnewland.com/applet-graphics-corruption-in-java-7-update-10-on-mac-osx-309 It is definitely related to the size of the image used for double-buffering. Have submitted a bug report (ID 2406665) which is in review. Next step for me is to compare source trees to see what changed in AWT for 7u10. It's a bit of a show stopper for our main production applet and we've had to throw together a HTML5 replacement for the mean time.
