Pinned topic WCS task command

‏2013-01-07T18:01:28Z |
Hi..

Can anyone tell why access policy is not needed for task command eventhough it is in a command framework..?Also if we want to invoke a taskcommand based on an action, can we put that entry in struts actionclass inorder to invoke the command for serving a business logic?

A task command should only be invoked from a controller command. You configure a controller command in Struts and you provide access control policies for controller commands. Since the controller command that calls a task command has already gone through an access control check, the task command does not need it. A controller command is the main starting point for any business logic, task commands are there to break down the business logic into multiple modular tasks that are easy to maintain and extend.

    Thanks Vani for your reply..
So no Taskcommand is being called by a Resource,ie the reason it does not need an acp run right?
