Re: x3550 keep restarting --The IBM Automatic Server restart Service for IPMI2013-01-02T23:42:48Z in response to SystemAdminI'm sure this isn't 100% technically accurate, but hopefully it will help.
The Automatic Server Restart (ASR) service is designed to enable a server to automatically reboot in the event of an OS hang. There is communication between the service and the management processor, and if that communication stops unexpectedly, the server will reboot. In your example, it looks like the service crashed, which resulted in the management processor rebooting the server.
If OS hangs are rare, or if you want to manually recover from them, then you should disable or uninstall this service.
