Pinned topic Error 500: SRVE0207E: Uncaught initialization exception thrown by servlet

Hi Concerned,

I'm using WAS6.1 in which I have added 2 projects. After starting the server, the status of both the projects are started and synchronized. While running in the browser the first project get executed while navigating to the next project I am encountering the following error.

Error 500: SRVE0207E: Uncaught initialization exception thrown by servlet

and in the console I'm getting the following error status

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Error while defining class: com.ibm.pcs.properties.PCSProperty
This error indicates that the class: com.ibm.pcs.data.PCSObject
could not be located while defining the class: com.ibm.pcs.properties.PCSProperty
This is often caused by having the class at a higher point in the classloader hierarchy
Dumping the current context classloader hierarchy:
==> indicates defining classloader
*** indicates classloader where the missing class could have been found

Could you please suggest a solution for this above case.

Thanks in Advance,
Gayathri

    Hi, Are you sure that you are not using another IBM product. That specific class is not part of WebSphere.
