Is rand_lookup only support CHAR / VARCHAR type field?

    Hi sbjerry,
    RAND_LOOKUP will lookup from a source that you specify and return replacement values from a column (or columns) that you specify. So, if you are looking to replace a DATETIME column with something random from a lookup table, create the lookup table with a type of DATETIME.

    For flexibility between source and target, refer to the Common Elements Manual Chapter 5 (Column Maps) and review the section titled "Compatibility Rules for Column Maps"

    Hi,

    Rand Lookup supports DATE and NUMBER data types also besides CHAR and VARCHAR data types
