Pinned topic Data Studio v3.2 - Alter Procedure (z/OS)

‏2012-12-21T15:27:25Z |
It appears the "Alter" feature for Stored Procedures has modified? The "Alter" function on v3.1.1 was available on the right-click menu of the selected procedure. In v3.2 you can achieve this by clicking the alter icon on the properties tab of the properties view. I can tab to the various fields, but I am not able to make any changes to the current values. Am I missing something simple?

DB2 z/OS v10.1

Sorry for the late reply. We did change the behavior of Alter by removing the Alter menu from the stored procedure. Please use "Open with Routine Editor" to change a stored procedure. The routine editor also has an icon on the top right corner for deploying the routine back to the server as well.

No problem. I will follow your suggestion and it seems like it should work fine. It was nice to have all the alter functionality work in a similar manner, but I can certainly do it this way. Thanks for the response.
