Pinned topic Delete non-numeric chars in a decimal field?

‏2012-12-14T15:52:26Z |
Hello everyone;

I have one question (newbie question), how i can delete non-numeric chars from a decimal data? For example i got the (' 383.7064628') and my desired result is 3837064628. In the map properties appear that my field is a decimal presentation and the item subclass is Number and the pad value is <SP>. I'm getting lost with this.

Thanks and regards from Colombia.
Cristian.

    Sounds like you'll have to change your field definition to be something other than Decimal. One option is to use a Text field instead, and the map rule LEAVENUM.
