Pinned topic Problem reconfiguring v7000 Unified management network

‏2012-12-14T14:04:41Z |
I'm trying to change the management network to use a VLAN on the 10G interface instead of the 1G interface.

Current config:
lsnwmgt
Interface Service IP Node1 Service IP Node2 Management IP Network Gateway VLAN ID
ethX0 192.168.135.22 192.168.135.23 192.168.135.21 255.255.254.0 192.168.134.1

I'm trying to run
chnwmgt --interface ethX1 --vlanid 713 --netmask 255.255.254.0 --gateway 192.168.134.1 --serviceip1 192.168.135.22 --serviceip2 192.168.135.23 --mgtip 192.168.135.21
but i only get an error message "EFSSG0596C The gateway IP 192.168.134.1 is not within subnet 255.255.254.0."

The 10G ports on the switch are configured with port-channel and trunking with VLAN 726 (public) & 713 (mgmt)

Output from lsnwinterface:
Node Interface MAC Master/Subordinate Bonding mode Transmit hash policy Up/Down Speed IP-Addresses MTU
mgmt001st001 ethX0 34:40:b5:a6:f7:f8 MASTER active-backup (1) UP 1000 1500
mgmt001st001 ethX1 00:00:c9:fb:a1:c4 MASTER 802.3ad (4) layer3+4 UP 20000 1500
mgmt001st001 ethX1.726 00:00:c9:fb:a1:c4 MASTER UP 20000 172.20.0.161 1500
mgmt002st001 ethX0 34:40:b5:a6:f3:00 MASTER active-backup (1) UP 1000 1500
mgmt002st001 ethX1 00:00:c9:fb:a0:3c MASTER 802.3ad (4) layer3+4 UP 20000 1500
mgmt002st001 ethX1.726 00:00:c9:fb:a0:3c MASTER UP 20000 1500

I must be missing something, anyone have any ideas?
