Hi All,

I have configure an SSH client profile having username and password only but getting "Failed to establish SSH connection error".So do i need to add public key to make it work...kindly provide your inputs.

    can you explain in detail what error message your getting .

    i think you are trying to connect backend systems using SFTP .
    1)you dont really need public key.
    2)you can do SSH either user/name or public key .

    if you can explain what you are trying to in detail , it helps us to nail down the issuse.

      Yes I am trying to connects to backend using sftp and thats why I have configured SSH client profile giving username and password but getting Failed to establish SSH connection error.

        Failed to establish SSH connection error.
        This can happen for various reasons , set the log level to Debug and see the view logs you can see more detail error , i have worked quite a bit on SFTP ... cannot provide you the direction with the error message you provided.At leaset if you can explain the policy configuration .. that will be helpfull
