‏2012-12-11T21:13:30Z |
Hi,

Can Somebody please help me in migrating from XI50 to XI52,,

I need to migrate two application domain from XI50 to XI52, How do I do export from xi50 and how do i import in xi52?

Do i need to Export from any domain or from default domain?

If i migrate will the firmware version will the XI52 Version?

For XI50 the Build number is different from XI52. Does it affect the migration?

How to import in XI52,, do i need to import in default domain or i can import from any domain.

Does the import will copy all files from XI50?

Thanks

MK

What do you want to export? Just export it. When you export from domainA from the XI50, do you want to import into domainA?

In short, you should be able to export from say version 4 firmware in the XI50 to version 4 or later firmware in XI52. You're taking a risk moving objects to an earlier firmware version, such as from 4 to 3.x. Some won't import properly.

I would recommend exporting the entire configuration through the control panel of a given domain to the same domain in the XI52, but, honestly speaking, you really don't need to import into an identically named domain. That is, you can export from XI50:domainA and import into XI52:domainB.

You can export a single object, or an entire domain. You choose.

Add one more note for your answer.... your files will be copied. Your certs and keys will not.

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for information. I am exporting one Domain at time from Xi50 to Xi52. They both have same firmware version(4.0.2.6).
I think there would be no problem with firmware version. The only problem is Certs. I need look for those

    Thank you
