Unless you have purchased the Fixed Term License for DB2 Express-C, you can't apply fixpacks.

IBM have with previous versions of DB2 refreshed the Express-C package at various fix levels ... so it's certainly possible that they will do this at some point. Keep an eye on the product page to see if they post a refreshed package.

If you are running into an issue that you know has been fixed, you may want to consider purchasing the license so you can get fixpacks.

I surely hope that IBM will refresh the Express-C installation with FP2 asap as there are some rather serious issues addressed (having just read the release notes).

One of particular concern for me is :
IC88681 3 DYNAMIC PL/SQL CURSORS ARE CLOSED AFTER A COMMIT
IC87406 1 DYNAMIC PL/SQL CURSORS ARE CLOSED AFTER A COMMIT

I do not have access to read the details of the fix. If some kind soul has access and can look this up for me I would be most grateful.

That link you provided has the updated 10.1.2 links when I go to it, not an old build for me. Not sure what you mean by old build in that case, sorry.

May be I've tried too early - a day after FP2 release for non free editions
