Pinned topic VS2010 Entity Framework "generate from database" produces empty model.

‏2012-12-07T16:19:20Z |
Hello all,

I've run into a problem when attempting to create my entity model from a db2 database. I am using Visual Studio 2010, and pasted below is the output of db2level:
DB21085I Instance "DB2" uses "32" bits and DB2 code release "SQL09074" with
level identifier "08050107".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v9.7.400.501", "s110330", "IP23237", and Fix Pack

"4".
Product is installed at "C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SQLLIB" with DB2 Copy Name "DB2COPY1".

Whenever I attempt to generate my entity data model from a database, the model always ends up being empty. I can browse the tables based on my filter criteria and select the tables I would like to include in the model, but everytime I confirm my selections, the IDE freezes for a solid 10 minutes, and then I am presented with an empty model and no errors. Please let me know if there's any additional information anyone may require for further debugging.

Thanks!
