Pinned topic Attribute Collections - add new attribute positioning

‏2012-12-05T13:54:43Z |
I have a tabbed view in a workflow and a tabbed view in a catalog.

On one tab I have some attributes followed by other sets of attributes that are grouped together.

I want to add a new attribute that is not part off the groupings.
I add the attribute to the collection but is appears at the bottom off the tab below the other none grouped attributes and below all the sets off grouped attributes. I wanted it to appear as the last off the non grouped attributes.

I.E.

I get:
Non group att1
Non group att2
non group att3
GROUP1
group 1 att1
group 1 att2
GROUP2
group 2 att1
group 2 att2
new non group att

I want:
Non group att1
Non group att2
non group att3
new non group att
GROUP1
group 1 att1
group 1 att2
GROUP2
group 2 att1
group 2 att2

How do I get to where I need to be?

    Hi!

If the attributes belong to one specification they will appear in a spec order. In this case you should to up new non group att in the spec.
If the attributes belong to different specifications you should change order of collections when tuning the tab.

As Alexander suggested, this is a 2 step process:
      1. Add the attribute in the exact location where you want it displayed, as mentioned in the earlier post.
      2. Add this attribute to the ACG which is used by your Catalog View.

Step 2 will make the attribute visible in the single edit screen while step 1 will determine where it is shown wrt other attributes in the tab.
