We have noticed an issue with the feedback button from the RMC websites. It is supposed to capture the context of the feedback by including the URL string in the subject of the message and contain a link in the body. We've found when the mailto link is over 100 characters the string is being truncated so that it is not usable as context and the body only contains three periods. Any ideas how to resolve while preserving the URL link in the email body?

The Feedback email format works for links with shorter paths however we do not want to limit paths within our RMC sites to 100 characters.
Also when IE users goes back to their broswer, they see a 'Navigation Canceled' page rather than the page they clicked Feedback. They have to click back to get to the site but are taken to the main page rather than the last viewed page. Can this be resolved?

This restriction was intentional. The main reason is that there are many different mail systems and clients such as Microsoft Outlook, IBM Lotus Notes, Google Gmail, etc. The default mailto: protocoal is implemented and worked differently against those mail systems. Some of them will cause errors if the subject is too long.
Also a lot of users customize this feedback as you can redirct it to a web page with forms instead of email clients. Some even connects to their own issue tracking systems. In summary, it could be customized to fit your email system if there is no error from the mailto: protocol. But this has to be a case by case situation. There is no plan for RMC to change it as it will break on some email systems/clients while work on others.
