Pinned topic Capture changes via SOMA while importing objects

‏2012-12-03T19:27:14Z |
When importing objects via web gui, there is an intermediate screen which shows "The following configuration is new", "The Deployment Policy filtered the following configuration". Is there a way to get this information using SOMA requests?

I am importing an xml file( which was exported from a different domain on the same device), and would like to capture differences/updates via SOMA.

Is <dp:get-diff> the correct operation to get this information? Does anyone have some samples to achieve this? The import xml file is NOT on the datapower device.

Get compare tool in the datapower in the will tell you the changes made between the current running persisted configuration with Persisted Configuration,Running Configuration,Domain Configuration,XML Configuration,Export ZIP Bundle,Backup ZIP Bundle,Checkpoint.

Deployment policy will filtered those changes which you have provided in the filter options.
