Pinned topic Obect Store Connection - CMISWorkBench

‏2012-11-30T20:53:50Z |
In our FileNet-P8 developer access is restricted to specific object stores. We are not able to use CMIS WorkBench – the connections are failing apparently because establishing a connection through the ATOM Service document or WSDL requires access to all object stores.

Is there a way we can use WorkBench by connecting directly to specific object stores?

Thanks,

Ajaz

    Repositories can be limited with the allowedRepositories property in cmis.properties. The value is a blank-separated list of object stores to expose as CMIS repositories. Either edit the advanced config file and run the configuration program, or edit the deployed WEB-INF/classes/cmis.properties, and restart the web app.

    Example WEB-INF/classes/cmis.properties:
    ...
    1. Limit the service doucment to two repositories
    allowedRepositories=DaphneA Invoices
    Also, If not already done in 1.0 fix pack 2, the next release of CMIS for FileNet will ignore inaccessible object stores when building the service document.

      I suppose the "WEB-INF/classes/cmis.properties" will apply to the CMIS instance deployed for FileNet.

      Do you know how to configure the properties for CMISWorkBench?

      Thanks.

        There is no Workbench configuration for this change. Workbench > Connection > Load Repositories will get the service doc which will have the repositories listed in CMIS for FileNet's cmis.properties.
