I get a question if a host in a Windows cluster must set the SCSI protocol to SCSI-2 or SCSI-3? This Windows cluster is attached to a 18.104.22.168 SVC.
I tried to find an answer for this question, but no luck sofar.
Thanks in advance,

Re: SVC - Set the SCSI protocol to SCSI-2 or SCSI-3?2012-12-13T07:49:20Z in response to scott.fuhrmanMy apologies for the late response, but the question came from the windows-environment. There is a setting where you can set the SCSI support value to SCSI-2 or SCSI-3. At this time it is set to SCSI-2 and because of some strange errors the question came to me if it is wise to set this to SCSI-3 support.
What I understand sofar is that SCSI-3 is better handling SCSI reservations then SCSI-2 so we probably set the value to SCSI-3.
