.. in the midst of a migration I noticed that the 'ccm_copy_tools' instructions for Synergy 7.2 explicitly ask for a Synergy 6.5 SP2 version to copy from .. does anyone know if that (copy tool) would work to copy Objectmake from an 6.5 SP1?

I believe that there were patches made to ObjectMake in 6.5SP2 that are required. I suggest you find media for 6.5SP2 so that you are copying from the correct release.
