Thanks for your question - I am sure there are many folks with the same question. In general IBM is very conservative about future announcements, thus you are not likely to see a specific date or explicit FP level mentioned by anyone from IBM until just before it hits the streets.

What I can do is help point out our past history and you can draw inferences from that :-)

If you look at our history of enhancements over the last few years, you can see that we have been delivering new function approx every 6 months, with our last delivery in V9.7 FP6 - May of this year. The other piece of history is that when we released a beta, our next new function delivery contained the full support.

The final thing I can share is that we are not adding new driver function to the V9.7 release. We only add new driver function to our most current release, and that is no longer V9.7. V9.7 will remain fully supported, just not receive any more driver enhancements.

I am sorry I can not be more precise, hopefully that gives you some guidance without getting myself into any hot water.

    Brent.

We just released V10.1 FP2 to our driver download site:

      http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=4020&uid=swg27016878

One of the features in this new level is formal support for Visual Studio 2012 and .NET FW 4.5.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback on our beta.

      Brent.
