    Hi
    For TEM licensing see here:
    http://www-01.ibm.com/software/sysmgmt/products/support/TivoliEndpointManager_Licensing.html

If you have got a license you'll need to update your license key here:

    http://tem.subscribenet.com/
Server Automation appears as a new option.

When you have updated your license, Server Automation will then appear as a new section in the license overview dashboard in the Console.

Accept the licence terms and you can then enable the site.
You'll also need to have the Virtual Endpoint Manager site enabled.

    Garret.

    Hi.

There is documentation that describes the process of how to get the Server Automation site here:

    http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/tivihelp/v26r1/topic/com.ibm.tivoli.tpm.wkf.doc_8.1/Server%20Automation%20overview/sa_acquiresite.html

    Thanks,
The link (http://www-01.ibm.com/software/sysmgmt/products/support/TivoliEndpointManager_Licensing.html) doesnt have a break down of what is or isnt in the various licensing packs.

as far as updating the license, we appear to have 2 that end support in 2013 so i guess i need to call support.

    Hi,

Could I ask what version of TEM you are currently running, and what pack(s) you have licensed?

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Hi,

Sorry for a very late reply.

Server Automation is available as an addon for Lifecycle Management, and has a pre-requisite of version 10.2.1312 of TEM. So, it looks like you would need to upgrade to 10.2.1312 and buy a license for SA.

    Regards,

    Jack

    V10.2.1312 of TEM?
The current version of TEM is still in the 8.2 family, isn't it?

    Hi Tim,
I think that's just a typo. The minimum supported version is 8.2.1312.0
