Pinned topic Memory Analyzer 64 bits not installing, despite finishing complete ISA4.1

‏2012-11-28T08:01:29Z |
morning....

Got a rather large dump that I need to look at and can only do that off a 64 jvm. Tried following the steps outlined at:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/tools/memoryanalyzer/

to pull down the analyzer. The Tool add-ons list a tool called: "IBM Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools for Java - Memory Analyze 64-bit Windows". The installation goes to complete but the tool is not listed in the "Managed Adds on" nor in the "Tools catalog". From the log view I found that certain jar files could not be pulled down:
AISUM0065W - Cannot get add-on "com.ibm.dtfj.feature_1.4.0.201006250953" from featureReference. The error message is: "Unable to retrieve remote reference "http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/isa/isa410/production/features/com.ibm.dtfj.feature_1.4.0.201006250953.jar". ". If this add-on includes or requires another add-on, please make sure that the included or required add-ons jars are present in the url specified.

Tested the URL via my browser and the file doesn't exist. The ISA is installed from the "isa.wb.412-win32" executable.

Also tried to setting up the memory analyzer in Eclipse (both Juno and Indigo) but couldn't add the DTFJ archive (dtfj-updatesite). There was never anything to install from the archive in the suggestion list. Weird.

Any ideas on the first issue? And have people gotten DTFJ to work inside Eclipse (which version?)?
Thanks in advance / Matthew

There was an issue with the ISA updatesite and hte Memory Analyzer 64-bit versions were corrupt in some way. That should be resolved now.

The log messages regarding DTFJ are referring to an old version that is still referenced in the updatesite but this can be ignored.

How do I file a bug then? The plugin (tool) is corrupt according to the Eclipse logs/trace. The issue doesn't appear to be resolved.

To install DTFJ into an existing MA or eclipse the zipped updatesite can be found linked here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/tools/dtfj.html

    zip file is at: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/java/support/tools/dtfj/dtfj-updatesite.zip
