I started IBM Installation Manager, selected the update to 8.5.1, accepted the license agreements and got the screen asking me to select the features to install (everything is pre-selected). When I click "Next" it starts "collecting files", then asks me to install the first disk. What do I have setup wrong???

    Thanks in advance,

I have my install media on an EIMAGE since I downloaded it from passport advantage.

Once I unzipped the EIMAGE, there is a folder named DISK1. I just pointed the install manager to Disk1 and the update proceeded.

    Hope that helps.

I went in through Fix Central and downloaded a file called RDPOWER-8.5.1.zip. This has no folder or sub-folder named DISK1. Instead it has all of the jars, xmls, and other typical eclipse files. I suspect this requires a different install path (or I got the wrong update file?).

To anyone following this thread, I finally got the update installed, thanks to a little help from Jon Paris. The "disk" that is needed is from the original install media for V8.5.0. I was looking for a folder named "disk1" within the fix pack...NEVER considered that the original media would be needed.

We have 3 disks related to RDP: One labled "Quick Start", one labeled "RPG and COBOL Development Tools for i" and a third with no special designation. It was that third disk that worked for me.

I haven't checked the complete list of fixes, but now when you click in the outline and have multiple views open for a source member, the view which last had focus is the one that gets repositioned...that had been an inconvenient quirk...glad they got that one fixed!
