Pinned topic [Beta8.6] Catalog start fails when security enabled with XIO

‏2012-11-22T14:45:06Z |
Hello,

My settings are working fine with ORB (using startOgServer.bat). When I switch to XIO (just switching to startXsServer.bat) Catalog Server fails to start with this error:

0000006a DescriptorGen E   CWOBJ6323E: getClassIdFromGlobalMap: objectGrid is

null - could not lookup

class name typeId=13996, domainHashCode=5 0000006a XDFSerializer E   CWOBJ6313E: Unrecognized type ID = 13996 Domain Id = 5 0000006a FfdcProvider  W com.ibm.ws.ffdc.impl.FfdcProvider logIncident FFDC1003I: FFDC Incident emitted on D:\logs\eXtremeScale\logs\ffdc\TEC_CSA_01_3678ba9_12.11.22_15.36.22.541343265851622240628.txt com.ibm.ws.objectgrid.server.security.access.AuthenticationHandler.authenticate 192

FFDC log file tell me this:

    We had a similar issue in our testing and we have resolved it. It is fixed in the GA version of the product. With XIO, XDF is used for copy to bytes logic which is why it behaves differently with XIO.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you. Until the GA is available I will use XIO without security on.
